quotes and stuff

GAZZER
On 15 July 2011, The Daily Mail quoted The Who's lead singer, Roger Daltrey, thus:

"I find it very interesting that people who spout socialism don’t want to pay for a socialist state…

I WAS APPALLED AT WHAT LABOUR DID TO THE WORKING CLASS — mass immigration, where people were allowed to come here and undercut our working class… It’s fine to say everybody can come into your country, but everybody should work towards a standard of living expected by people who live here. Not come here, live 20 to a room, pay no tax, send money home and undercut every builder in London. THEY SLAUGHTERED THE WORKING CLASS IN THIS COUNTRY.

I HATE THEM FOR IT BECAUSE IT IS ALWAYS THE LITTLE MAN WHO IS HURT BADLY. IT’S TERRIBLE."

On 5 December 2008, the actor, Ray Winstone, was quoted thus by The Daily Mail:

"Every time I get on a plane the thing I love is that moment when the captain announces we’re flying over England. You open the shutters on your little window and you look down at all those miles of green fields and think: 'This is it. This is England. This is the greatest, most beautiful country in the world.' But it’s just not great any more, is it?

Let’s be honest. This country isn’t going to the dogs. It’s gone to the dogs. We’re a mess. And do I really want to live in this mess any more? I feel bad saying it, but I’m just not sure."

During the 4 June 2006 edition of Dateline London, Gavin Essler posed this question:

"What's wrong with white guys, by the way?"
To which the journalist and broadcaster, Yasmin Alibhai-Brown, who arrived here from Uganda in 1972, replied:

"I don't like them. I WANT THEM TO BE THE LOST SPECIES IN A HUNDRED YEARS!"

On 12 January 2011, ABC News reported thus:

“MORE THAN 1,000 YOUNG AMERICAN WOMEN HAVE BEEN RAPED OR SEXUALLY ASSAULTED IN THE LAST DECADE WHILE SERVING AS PEACE CORPS VOLUNTEERS IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES…

In some cases, victims say, THE PEACE CORPS HAS IGNORED SAFETY CONCERNS AND LATER TRIED TO BLAME THE WOMEN WHO WERE RAPED FOR BRINGING ON THE ATTACKS.

‘I have two daughters now and I would never ever let them join the Peace Corps,’ said Adrianna Ault Nolan of New York, who was raped while serving in Haiti. She is one of six rape and sexual assault victims who agreed to tell their stories, in hopes the Peace Corps will do a better job of volunteer training and victim counseling…

In the most brutal attack, JESS SMOCHEK, 29, OF PENNSYLVANIA WAS GANG RAPED IN BANGLADESH IN 2004 BY A GROUP OF YOUNG MEN AFTER SHE SAYS PEACE CORPS OFFICIALS IN THE COUNTRY IGNORED HER PLEAS TO RE-LOCATE HER.

‘They all took turns raping me,’ she told ABC News. ‘They raped me with their bodies,. They raped me with foreign objects.‘ Smochek says the group began to stalk her and tried to kiss her and touch her from the very first day she arrived at the city where she was assigned.

‘EVERY DAY WE FELT UNSAFE. AND WE REPORTED EVERYTHING, WE JUST KEPT REPORTING,’ she said in an interview with five other former volunteers who also were rape or sexual assault victims. She says the gang rape took place just hours after a Peace Corps safety official filed a report with the local police BUT AGAIN IGNORED HER PLEAS FOR RE-ASSIGNMENT. She says the young men knew she had complained to the police.

‘They slammed me against the wall and just started threatening me, they're calling me A FILTHY AMERICAN WHORE… We told you to stop going to the police. AND NOW WE HAVE TO KILL YOU… I was in so much pain that I just told them, 'Just kill me. Please. Just do it.'

In a 1944 essay titled 'The English People', George Orwell wrote with affection of the ‘gentle-mannered, undemonstrative, law-abiding English’.

He said that foreigners were amazed by our ‘gentleness… by the orderly behaviour of English crowds, the lack of pushing and quarrelling’. he also said that there was ‘very little crime or violence.’ Despite the war, that’s how our world was in 1944.

In 1955, the anthropologist, Geoffrey Gorer, was moved to say this:

"The English are certainly among the most peaceful, gentle, courteous and orderly populations that the civilised world has ever seen."
That’s how it was then. That's what we had before the politicians and the social engineers, those who knew so much better and saw so much further than the rest of us, decided to change it all.

By 2009, Frank Field, a uniquely honest Labour politician, was admitting to this:

"In my constituency… there are now more violent crimes against the person than there were in the whole country 50 years ago."

That's what Angry people- half a century of immigrant-first, indigenous-last parliamentary and media treachery has given us.

"I am prepared to meet my Maker.  Whether my Maker is prepared for the
great ordeal of meeting me is another matter."

"History will be kind to me for I intend to write it."

"It has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all
the others that have been tried."

"It is a good thing for an uneducated man to read books of quotations."

"Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves
up and hurry off as if nothing ever happened."

"I like pigs.  Dogs look up to us.  Cats look down on us.  Pigs treat us
as equals."

"A fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the
subject."

If we learn from our mistakes, why aint I a genius, If you educate the masses where's the advantage for the few?

The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion- but allow- very lively debate within that spectrum - even encourage the more critical and dissident views. That gives people the sense that there's free thinking going on, while all the time the presuppositions of the system are being reinforced by the limits put on the range of the debate. "

The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organised habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country.
